The face protection visor is intended to provide a physical barrier of protection for the facial area and related mucous membranes (eyes, nose, lips), against airborne droplets, spatters, sprays and splashes of body fluids.

Recommendations for use and cleaning:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water and then dry them;
  • Place the visor over the face and eyes, without touching the inside, so that it is comfortably placed at the level of the forehead, just above the eyes;
  • Adjust the elastic if necessary;

Removal:

  • wash your hands with soap and water and then dry them;
  • Remove the face shield by handling only the tape;
  • The front, inside and sides of the visor should never be touched by the hands or face, as these are the surfaces most likely to be contaminated by sprays, splashes or drops.

Cleaning:

  • wash with mild soap and water, then disinfect with alcohol;
  • wash the interior and then the exterior with gentle movements;
  • Allow to air dry;
  • Wash your hands with soap and water and then dry them;

Note: The face shield does not provide 100% effective protection, mandatory use of a mask is recommended, reserving the visor for additional protection or, in exceptional circumstances, its use due to the impossibility of using a mask.

Sanitization of hands:

  • turn on the tap and wet your hands, avoiding touching the sink. Follow the washing procedure:
  • put liquid soap in the palm of the hand and lather the hands, rubbing the palms of the hands;
  • Superimpose your right hand on the back of your left hand and rub the area;
  • Make circular movements with your right hand around the left thumb area and vice versa.
  • Make frictional movements on the back of the left hand, in the interdigital area of ​​the fingers and vice versa;
  • Make circular movements with the fingertips of the right hand joined over the palm of the left hand;
  • Rinse hands by removing all foam and soap residue.
  • Dry carefully starting with the hands and followed by the wrists, with disposable paper towel or hand dryer;
  • Close the tap with the paper towel (if necessary), being careful not to touch the surface with your hands;
  • Discard the disposable paper for the garbage bag.
